🔥 We’re Hiring a Cook (Soft Launch: December 2026)
We’re preparing for our soft launch at the end of December 2026 and are seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated cook to join our founding kitchen team. This is a rare opportunity to grow with a restaurant from the ground up.
As we expand, Ala Kefak plans to operate 24 hours a day, with two shifts (day & night). Applicants available for either or both shifts are encouraged to apply. Early hires will have opportunities for advancement as the team grows.
👨🏽🍳 Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and Middle Eastern specialties.

Ensure all food meets Ala Kefak’s quality, presentation, and halal standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.

Collaborate with management and team members to ensure efficient service during all hours.

Support menu testing and recipe development during the soft-launch phase.
🧂 Qualifications

2+ years experience as a cook or line cook (restaurant or food-truck experience preferred).

Knowledge of or willingness to learn Middle Eastern / Mediterranean / halal cuisine.

Strong attention to detail and time management.

ServSafe certification (preferred, not required).

Ability to work flexible hours (including nights/weekends once 24-hour service begins).

Team-oriented attitude and commitment to a positive kitchen culture.
